Senior Ethan Jackson joins ACT 30+ Composite Club

 STA senior Ethan Jackson is recognized by Principal Pat Sanguinetti for his composite score of 30 on the ACT College Placement Test.  The Veritas ACT 30+ Award at STA is given to all students who receive a composite score of 30 or above on the ACT.  Ethan is the son of Paul Jackson of Hammond and Sandra Jackson of Ponchatoula.

Service students recognized

Community service hours are a part of every student at St. Thomas Aquinas Regional Catholic High School, but there always seem to be those students who go above and beyond their required hours in their efforts to serve as the “hands and feet of Christ.” These service hour recognitions are from the 2016-17 school year.

Congratulations to juniors Rachael White and Claire Krousel for placing 4th in the nation at the National Beta Club Convention in Orlando this summer in the Banner division.

Saint Thomas Aquinas Named Jostens 2017 National Yearbook Program of Excellence

STA program recognized five straight years for dynamic and engaging yearbook.

(HAMMOND) – (August/2017) – Jostens, the leading producer of yearbooks and student-created content, today announced that Saint Thomas Aquinas Regional Catholic High School’s yearbook program has been named a 2017 Jostens’ National Yearbook Program of Excellence. The National Yearbook Program of Excellence recognizes engaging yearbooks that reflect a broad representation of the student body while helping students develop 21st century skills such as communication, collaboration, and information and communication technologies (ICT) literacy.  

This is the fifth year that STA has received this national recognition. The STA award winning yearbook program is under the direction of Michelle Chauvin, yearbook adviser at Saint Thomas Aquinas.
