"Big Ed" Receives Honorary Jersey for 2016 Under Armour All-America High School Football Game

Senior football player Edwin Alexander was presented his honorary game jersey at the American Family Insurance Selection Tour for the 2016 Under Armour All-America High School Football Game. The event is part of the three-month American Family Insurance Selection Tour for the Under Armour All-America Game.

Alexander is one of more than 90 players selected to compete in the ninth annual Under Armour All-America Game presented by America Family Insurance, a nationally televised competition spotlighting the country's top high school seniors. The 2016 Under Armour All-America Game is slated for Saturday, Jan. 2 at the Orlando Citrus Bowl and will be televised live on ESPN2 at noon ET.

"I'm looking forward to competing and getting better," said Alexander. "I'm also looking forward to meeting some of the coaches who were great NFL players."

The national American Family Insurance Selection Tour recognizes these top players as they follow their dreams on the gridiron and provides opportunities for competition, learning and personal development that will benefit them both on and off the field.

"As the official champion of Dreams, American Family is honored to salute these student athletes as they work hard to pursue their dreams with the encouragement of family, coaches, friends and their communities," said Myles Romero, American Family Insurance brand and consumer marketing associate vice president. "These student-athletes embody what American Family Insurance stands for - hard work, inspiration, dedication and committed support from those around them, make any dream achieved possible."

In the nine years of the All-America Game, there have been 94 NFL Draft Picks, 23 First-Round NFL Draft Picks, Four NFL Pro Bowlers, Two Super Bowl Champions, and One Heisman Trophy Winner.
