24 STA students and 4 chaperones departed this morning for Washington D.C. and the March for Life.

The STA Starlettes competed Sunday in the Universal Dance Association’s Louisiana State Dance Championship. The Starlettes competed against top teams not only in the state, but also in the nation.
Laikyn Lauderdale, a junior from Saint Thomas Aquinas Regional Catholic High School in Hammond, LA, was one of more than 500 high school cheerleaders and dancers from across the U.S. who performed in the world famous London New Year’s Day Parade. Laikyn is the daughter of Bubba and Sonya Lauderdale.
STA senior Sara Gambel was named to the 2012-2013 A+ Athletes sponsored by WWL and McDonalds. A+ Athletes recognizes student athletes who focus on academics and community as well as sports.
STA senior Juan Valenzuela, Jr., was recently honored for earning the rank of Eagle Scout. Eagle Scout is the highest advancement rank in Boy Scouting.
Over the years St. Thomas Aquinas Regional Catholic High School's partnership with Catholic Charities’ holiday “Adopt-a-Family” program has made a significant positive impact on the lives of many families in our area who are suffering from serious misfortunes.
STA recently hosted a Career Day for its students. Ambassadors, faculty, and staff welcomed over 30 guest speakers including alumni, parents, and community members to share their professional experiences.
Members of the STA Robotics Club recently attended a two day robotics workshop held at Louisiana State University.
