Mayor commends Catholic schools

Hammond Mayor Mayson Foster is joined by Holy Ghost Catholic School principal Tangee Daugereaux and St. Thomas Aquinas Regional Catholic High School principal Jose Becerra as he signs a proclamation commending Hammond's Catholic schools for their impact on the many city and parish citizens that have experienced and enjoyed the quality education provided to them by these schools. Catholic Schools Week is celebrated across the nation January 27-February 2. HGS will host its Open House on Wednesday, January 30, 10am-1pm and 6-7:30pm. STA hosts its annual Grandparents' Day breakfast on Thursday, January 31.
