Sara Gambel recognized as A+ Athlete

STA senior Sara Gambel was named to the 2012-2013 A+ Athletes sponsored by WWL and McDonalds. A+ Athletes recognizes student athletes who focus on academics and community as well as sports. Sara is a four-year member of the Cross Country Team, Indoor and Outdoor Track Team, and Soccer Team. She is also a member of the Key Club, ACT 30+ Club, and serves as Student Council Secretary.

Sara, along with her sister, founded “Tangi Cause for Paws” which promotes pet adoption and collects supplies for the Tangipahoa Parish Animal Control Center. She has also volunteered for Relay for Life, Camp New Life, Nicaragua International Outreach, and Tangi Food Pantry, to name a few. Congratulations Sara!
