The STA Robotics Club recently participated in the BEST (Boosting Engineering, Science, and Technology) 2013 Robotics Competition in New Orleans. The Club is only in its second year of existence and is proud to have placed second in the gaming award, received the second highest number of points in the total competition, and placed third overall in the competition.

STA Principal José Becerra recognizes senior Christopher Gaudin for his composite score of 30 or higher on the ACT. The Veritas ACT 30+ Award at STA is given to all students who receive a composite score of 30 or above on the ACT. Chris is the son of Dr. Steve and Roselynn Gaudin of Hammond.

October is nationally recognized as "Respect for Life" month across the United States. As part of our ministry, the St. Thomas Aquinas Pro-Life organization wanted to bring awareness to the injustice of abortion.
