Senior Butch Bartels Selected as WWL-TV A+ Athlete
Congratulations to senior Butch Bartels for being chosen as a WWL-TV A+ Athlete for his academic achievements and successes in Soccer, Cross Country, Swimming, and Tennis. WWL-TV in New Orleans recognizes outstanding high school student athletes based on these criteria: scholastic achievement, athletic ability, and overall community and school involvement.
Butch taped a segment today with Sports Director Doug Mouton. It will air on February 6 during the 6pm News, on February 7 at 8am, and on February 7 during the "Fourth Down on Four" show between 10:35-11:05pm. Butch was also honored at an awards ceremony today.
