Key Club donates books

The Saint Thomas Aquinas Key Club recently donated more than 70 books to the Hammond Kiwanis Happy Packs Program. The books, along with a snack, are placed in a backpack to be distributed to children attending schools in the Hammond area. The backpacks are taken home by the children over the weekend and returned on Monday so they can be redistributed.

The STA Key Club will accept book donations throughout the school year in order to continue serving this program with the Kiwanis Club. Beginner reading books and picture books are preferred.  Books do not need to be new and can be dropped of at STA.
